*The loose volume of firewood is what we are required by the legislation to quote. It refers to the volume of logs if those logs were supplied all jumbled up, or poured ‘loose’ into a container.
This is how bulk firewood has traditionally been sold in the United Kingdom. Supplying firewood in a stacked format is a far more efficient method and allows us to make savings in both the carbon footprint and cost of transport of the product - savings we pass onto you.

Well priced, thick and thin logs which suite our Swedish wood burner. Our last 3 m3 alder purchase burnt very well . We think this one will be as good.

First time I've used Candowe, will definitely use again. The logs were delivered by a helpful and friendly driver, I was impressed with the way the logs were loaded and crated. We have an open fireplace and was concerned the logs may have been to big but there is a good variation of sizes. I have not tried them yet but I am sure they will burn great. Thank you.
I’ve tried several wood supplies. My massive Larch crate has surprised me with superb quality logs, no dross or rubbish hidden in the middle like some suppliers. All delivered efficiently and at a price way below any other supplier for the quantity and quality. Just excellent.
I have to say the logs themselves are grate burn long and hot , I brought the large pallet so should last me through the winter, my only gripe , I was never given any tracking updates , it was only the morning while I was at work that the driver called to say he would be with me in an hour, then a bit of a panic to make sure someone was home to receive them
I am yet to receive my delivery (due Sept24th) so how can I comment? Please stop sending me review demands, it shows you do not keep track of the company’s trading!!

The wood is good.. delivery communication is always poor, despite requesting a delivery day and paying the extra couple of pounds was delivered the following day which caused a great deal of annoyance with work etc. The tracking is never updated, just makes the process annoying and for such a large item you kinda know when it is going to be delivered.

Great value for money. Logs small, medium and large. It needed 2 people to move the crate securely from the lorry to kerbside. The female driver was lovely.

Delivery excellent and pallet courier very helpful. Wood looks well dried, which is essential as we are in an AONB and we have specific requirements to adhere to regarding kiln dried wood burning 🔥
I did add a note onto my order to be delivered the following week, and it came a week early - not great when the forklift was broken
