*The loose volume of firewood is what we are required by the legislation to quote. It refers to the volume of logs if those logs were supplied all jumbled up, or poured ‘loose’ into a container.
This is how bulk firewood has traditionally been sold in the United Kingdom. Supplying firewood in a stacked format is a far more efficient method and allows us to make savings in both the carbon footprint and cost of transport of the product - savings we pass onto you.

We will use our stove all day, every day once winter starts soon and get through a lot of logs, so we will have no hesitation in going back to candowe.co.uk for another crate to top up our wood store. As far as I can see and I’ve spent some time looking at prices of crated logs online and locally, they are the cheapest per cubic metre I could find. That is why, twice this year we have bought crated logs from candowe.co.uk. And the free bags of kindling are a nice bonus.
We ordered last minute and needed the wood to arrive on time for our event. Candowe were very helpful and responsive and kept us in the loop. Excellent product, great price and good vibes! :)
Brilliant 🤩 wood and filled our wood shed up with 4 free bags of kindling to really impressed. Packed really well
Only thing is we didn’t get notice of delivery so we nearly missed it lucky our neighbour took delivery for us
Quick delivery and well packed. Logs a bit smaller than ones we’ve had before from a different supplier which means they burn quicker. Hence only 4 stars for the product, but 5 stars for service.
They burn really well, no smell and delivery on a pallet is very convenient.
I will most definitely be ordering again from this company, a good sized pallet of Alder wood in a strongly made crate with the added bonus of 4 packs of kindling for free.

Ordered on the 20th delivered on 28th. The Alder wood is perfect sizing great and smells wonderful. Shame delivery company does not let you know the delivery day, so you can plan. However, driver did call about 15 mins prior to delivery. I'm sure company could let you know the day before.

Lovely clean wood perfectly cut to fit into my smaller stove. Pleasant and helpful driver put the pallet exactly where I needed it. Good experience overall,many thanks will use again

Logs arrived well packaged in a crate BUT that was 8 days after ordering with no tracking possible. By sheer luck I was home for the delivery. The driver rang to give 30 minute warning. Delivered to my driveway very politely. Happy so far!

Wellpacked, nicely cut wood but we;ve not tried it out yet. Only big problem was the delivery driver didn't call beforehand to see if we were in and the pallet truck couldnt go on a gravel drive, so we had lots of wood moving to do!!
