- Loose vol: 3.0 m3
*The loose volume of firewood is what we are required by the legislation to quote. It refers to the volume of logs if those logs were supplied all jumbled up, or poured ‘loose’ into a container. This is how bulk firewood has traditionally been sold in the United Kingdom. Supplying firewood in a stacked format is a far more efficient method and allows us to make savings in both the carbon footprint and cost of transport of the product - savings we pass onto you. Excellent quality and service
The timber was delivered fully stacked and covered. Service make good.
Moisture content average 15%. Some of the pieces quite large and will need splitting. However, more than happy.
First time I've used Candowe, will definitely use again. The logs were delivered by a helpful and friendly driver, I was impressed with the way the logs were loaded and crated. We have an open fireplace and was concerned the logs may have been to big but there is a good variation of sizes. I have not tried them yet but I am sure they will burn great. Thank you.
